Dance open up to people and people to it. They are more interested in it. I observe a change. People speak with us after the shows during the discussions. Festivals in the past just showed the performances. We must give our audiences the opportunity to ask questions. We do not need to explain our work, but we want to speak about our intentions, visions and goals. (Angela Guerreiro, interview)

There was at the theater Hamburger Sprechwerk by tradition various performances. The Kiosk-production "Die Kandidaten" was successful and sold out. Victoria Hauke’s "catch22soloA" succeeded as experiment with visual arts, dance and text.

DanceKiosk is on the march. It is turning to be a very important meeting point fort the dance community. It takes place at Kampnagel, shows Paul Gazzola’s video-installation in Haus 73 as well as the "visit-performances" of the Portuguese choreographer Rogério Nuno Costa in three private flats in Hamburg.

At Kampnagel Sabine Glenz fascinated with her solo "A body within", a piece which remembers Lucinda Child’s minimalist endless looping. Guest dancers are a central point for the artistic exchange in the Kiosk conception. The last performances are also highlights: the remarkable solo of the British Rosemary Butcher and the Berliner Martin Nachbar.
