“YEP is a choreographic game for two or more dancers utilizing a phrase of 120 movements and variable starting points. Played out over 2 hours, they aim to start sections of a phrase at the same time without prior agreement. They say YEP to start, YEP when they are in sync (they then keep going) and when they are not, they say no and stop. A sound score starts and stops in response to their cues. Through a system of determined un-determinacy, an intimate and intricate performance/installation is created around notions of trust, order, and perfection within the spatial dynamics of the room."
Paul Gazzola
born in Australia and lives in Berlin since 1999. His interdisciplinary practice of almost 20 years operates at the interface of art, architecture, performance, theory and curation, utilizing a multiplicity of strategies in the production of performances, choreographies, and multi-media installations for stages, galleries and site-specific settings. These works has been presented at festivals in Australia, Denmark, France, Germany, Portugal, South Africa, Sweden and most recently in Japan. Originally trained as a carpenter, he has a B.A. in Performance (dance), works as a Feldenkrais practitioner, and in 2004 commenced studies in architecture. The culmination of his varied inquiries, each exploring the connection/intervention between the body and the built form provide a unique platform of knowledge in his working life. Since 1994 he has collaborated on various projects with such choreographers as Angela Guerreiro, Xavier Le Roy and Tino Sehgal and the groups Les Ballets C de la B and Lone Twin Theatre (UK). Paul's recent works include: STREET WALKS SERIES - an ongoing site specific video project; STREETS AS PICTURES/HALLE for the 2008 Theater der Welt Festival in Halle and the continuing project THE PRODUCTION OF SUSPICIOUS BODIES that investigates how the regimes of surveillance and the spaces' they monitor impact upon society and the body.

Jessyka Watson-Galbraith
Born in Perth, Western Australia and since 2004, works between Europe and Australia. her Celine Dion 'dance piece'/ Let's Talk About Love has been shown at The Place Theatre in London and as part of the 2008 Tanztage Festival in Postdam, Germany. She is currently pre-occupied with exploring web identities for dance pieces, resulting in collections of videos and stage shows based on pop, dance and love. Current project Super! Power! - The Rock Opera.
